World Beer Festival – Cleveland Celebrates Local Breweries
Cleveland, OH – The World Beer Festival – Cleveland, to be held June 14, proudly released its 2014 line-up, boasting an array of local breweries and brewpubs.
“With 22 Ohio breweries in the mix, the World Beer Festival is a great place to come try all your local favorites in one place,” said Daniel Bradford, Producer of the World Beer Festival. “With sessions and demos by local beer experts, it promises to be both educational and delicious.”
The World Beer Festival—Cleveland, now in its second year, brings together the brewers and the beer with a growing customer base that has shaped the Ohio beer scene. Many Ohio favorites are returning for a second year including Great Lakes Brewing Company, Hoppinʼ Frog Brewery, Fat Heads Brewery, Buckeye Brewing, Cornerstone Brewing Company, Rivertown Brewing Company, Jackie Oʼs Pub & Brewery, Black Box Brewing Company, Portside Brewery, Lager Heads Brewing, Elevator Brewing Company, Rockmill Brewery, Great Black Swamp Brewing Company, The Brew Kettle Production Works and Griffin Cider Works. In addition, Thirsty Dog Brewing Company and Four String Brewing Company will make their first appearance at the World Beer Festival—Cleveland.
A complete list of breweries and partial list of beers to be poured can be found at www.worldbeerfestival.com. A full beer list will be released next week. The list boasts an exciting selection of beers, including rare beers like El Lupulo Libre from The Brew Kettle Production Works. A few months ago, El Lupulo Libre was crowned grand champion of the National Imperial IPA Championship. In addition, many other award-winning beers are set to make an appearance at the World Beer Festival.
“We brewed El Lupulo Libre with the Brewing News competition in mind,” notes Jack Kephart, head brewer. “We wanted to make a beer that could hold its own against any other double IPA and I guess we did. This is our third batch and I am glad we are able to bring it to the World Beer Festival.”
