Twisted Pine Brewery Turns Sweet Sixteen

Boulder, CO – Twisted Pine Brewing Company will be celebrating 16 years of hand-crafting pure malt ales this summer with a colossal anniversary party on Saturday, July 16th from 2-7p.

The event will feature over 20 specialty beers including an array of seasonal and aged varieties and the exclusive release of Bough Breaker Barleywine; a strong and rich brew hopped to 120 IBUs with Amarillo hops. In addition to an array of unique beers, there will be plenty of ale-infused grilled food and live music all afternoon. Musical artists include Danny Shafer, Holden Young and Hot Soup.

“We’ve worked hard to get to where we are and as we continue to grow we’re able to brew and bottle more and more unique and original beers, Bough Breaker being the next of this series,” imparts brewery owner, Bob Baile. Bough Breaker pours a deep, rich red color with aromas of citrus hops, dark fruit and light toffee. While delectable to drink the day it’s bottled, Bough Breaker will only become more enchanting with aging and cellaring.

“We’ve come a long way since 1995,” reminisces Bob, “But we will always follow the practices of community support and involvement this company was founded on. After all, it is our values, culture, staff and ingenuity in brewing that has brought us here today and will sustain us in the future. On our sweet 16, I raise a glass to these tenets and say, ‘what else can I ask for?’” Twisted Pine’s anniversary party will take place in the brewery’s parking lot at 3201 Walnut St. in Boulder from 2-7p on Saturday, July 16th.
