Tickets Are Now Available For The Inaugural Omaha Beer Fest
Omaha, NE – Tickets are now for sale for the largest craft beer festival in Nebraska.
The inaugural Omaha Beer Fest takes place Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, during American Craft Beer Week at the Lewis and Clark Landing. Tickets are available at online on the festival website, www.omahabeerfest.com or at Spirit World on 75th and Pacific.
Over 100 unique craft brews and imports will be available for tasting from 25 breweries, including Goose Island Beer Co (Chicago), New Belgium Brewing Co (Fort Collins, CO) and Kansas City’s Boulevard Brewing Co. Brewers and representatives from the breweries will be on hand to sample their crafts and meet their fans.
“American Craft Beer Week is a celebration of the creativity and passion of small brewers nationwide,” said John McDonald, founder and president of Boulevard Brewing Company. “It’s markets like Omaha, who embraced our beers early and have remained outstanding supporters of the craft beer movement, that make it possible for our industry to create an estimated 100,000 jobs annually.”
Beer-related seminars and beer and food pairings will be offered throughout the two day event, including Extreme Beer & Cheese Pairing (Goose Island Beer Co), Cask-Conditioned Ale Tapping (Empyrean Brewing Co), and Barrel Aged Beer & Spirits (Lucky Bucket Brewing Co).
The official festival beneficiary is Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, who will receive a portion of the ticket sales.
Other festival sponsors include Omaha Magazine, DocuLynx, Inc., JM Web Designs, Liberty Tavern, and Nebraska Beer Blog. Beers sampled at the festival will be available for sale on-site at the festival through Spirit World. Live entertainment and local food vendors will also be on-site.
