The Bruery and Bootleggers Chocosaurus Rye Release Party Monday!
Tomorrow night at 6pm we will be hosting the crew from Bootlegger’s Brewery as they take over our tasting area with 10 different beers!
For those unfamiliar with Bootlegger’s Brewery, they are our neighbors in Fullerton, just a few miles away from our own brewery, and they have been brewing fine examples of hand crafted California ales for close to four years now. You can certainly expect to enjoy some amazing and limited release beers if you come by tomorrow night.
Bootlegger’s have been great friends of ours since our beginning and it seemed fit to brew our first local collaboration with them – Provisiosn Collaboration Series: Chocosaurus Rye! This beer is an amalgamation of our two breweries styles: a dark rye lager that was finished with cacao nibs and vanilla beans. There aren’t many lagers that work well in the winter, but this one, full of rye spice and chocolate should do the trick.
We’ll also be releasing two other beers tomorrow from The Bruery:
Provisions Sereies: Mother Funker, a sour blonde ale that has been aged for several years in barrels predominately used for Chardonnay. This is a seriously sour beer, perhaps the most sour beer we’ve produced so far. Bursting with citrus, funk, and a hint of white vinegar, Mother Funker is for those who like their sours with more sour.
And the return of Sour In The Rye! Brewed with nearly 40% rye malt, a feat in itself, this sour ale ages in barrels for over a year, coming out with a complex character of rye spice, oak and fruity funk.
Hope to see you soon!
Cheers!
