TailGate Beer’s 1st Annual “Can Cancer” TailGate
The 1st Annual “Can Cancer” TailGate will be held on Sunday, May 8th at downtown San Diego’s PETCO Park tailgate parking lot from 10:00am- 1:30pm before the 1:05 Padres game vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks!
The family-friendly tailgate is perfect for celebrating Mother’s day with family and friends in support of a very special local organization, the City of Hope Foundation.
Brunch, tailgate games and drinks (TailGate Beer cans for adults!) will all be included in the festivities. We’ll also be holding raffles and a silent auction, in which great prizes including a custom “Padres-style” Freedom Grill BBQ, a private tailgate party from Jay the tailgate guy at an event of your choice (locations limited) and many more Items will be up for grabs!

Why: San Diego’s TailGate Beer was founded on the belief that a company can only be as successful as the community in which it does business. Founder and CEO, Wesley Keegan had a dream of starting his own business and being able to give back to the local communities that embrace TailGate Beer.
For its first charitable event, the TailGate Beer “Can Cancer” TailGate, the City of Hope Foundation was chosen as the local San Diego beneficiary. Not only are they an outstanding organization that treats thousands of patients with life threatening diseases, but the group also holds a special place in Wesley’s life personally. This year, Wesley’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently receiving world-class treatment from the City of Hope. She is expected to make a full recovery and this tailgate is dedicated to her and the millions of other women fighting breast cancer.

Package Pricing:
General Admission= $30 until May 1; $35 after May 1
General Admission without game ticket= $20
Children 10 years and younger= $15
Children under 36” (inches) tall= Free (36” and shorter get into games for free)
