Societe Brewing Events for San Diego Beer Week 2013

(Kearny Mesa, CA) – Societe Brewing Company raises a glass to celebrate San Diego Beer Week, November 1 – 10, 2013.  Societe will be hosting a few events during the week at their production brewery and tasting room, but Societe will also be featured at several preeminent San Diego beer bars and beer destinations all throughout the week.

Societe Brewing Company Tap Takeover at the Tasting Room
November 1-10 @ 12pm – Closing     No Cover Charge

You read that correctly!  Throughout the entire San Diego Beer Week, we will be serving Societe Brewing Company’s hand-crafted ales.  Keep an eye out for beers like The Harlot and The Butcher that will be on tap EVERY DAY.  This is something we only do each day of the year!

Also, be sure to look out for the other beers we usually have available!  Mention that you’re here for the Tap Takeover and expect to receive great service, just like a normal customer, with no discounts!  This event kicks off every day at 12pm when we open our doors, and it lasts until we are regularly scheduled to close each evening!

In the Barrel
November 7 @ 6:00pm – 9:30pm     $100

Join the members of Societe for an exclusive first taste of Societe Brewing Company’s line of barrel-aged beers. The event will feature three unique beers drawn from our barrels, and will also include beers from our standard lineup. Each beer will be artfully paired with delectable fare from Alchemy during Societe’s first in-house beer dinner.  This is the only opportunity to sample the first offering of beers from the barrel room.

The event will begin at 6:00pm with a social hour including small bites paired with Societe’s regular lineup of Out West, Old World, and Stygian beers. Table service will then begin at 7:00pm with a three-course meal where each plate will be tastefully paired with a barrel-aged beer, fermented with wild yeast in the barrel room.  Travis Smith and Doug Constantiner will be on hand to serve the guests, talk about Societe’s barrel program, and describe the three unique beers that will be served, and Ron Troyano will be present to explain each unique course.

This will surely be an event you do not want to miss, especially for those beer lovers who have eagerly awaited the opportunity to taste what Societe has In the Barrel!

Industry Night
November 10 @ 6:00pm – 10:00pm     $1 Beers

Join us in the Tasting Room at Societe Brewing Company as we celebrate the conclusion of San Diego Beer Week 2013.  For the last event of the week, Societe will be opening its doors to industry members who work at a San Diego Brewers Guild brewery, allied pub, or affiliate member location.

Special $1 beer pricing will be extended to all industry members who bring a pay stub or business card with them.  We will be enjoying The Pupil, The Harlot, The Butcher, and the rest of Societe’s beers throughout the night, and Chef Karl Prohaska will also be at the brewery serving up some delicious food all evening long.  Please come celebrate the success of the best week (well, the best 10 days!) for craft beer in one of the best beer communities in the world.

All ages welcome, but you must be 21+ to enjoy beers…

Societe Brewing Company was founded in 2011 by Travis Smith, formerly of Russian River Brewing Company (Santa Rosa, CA) and The Bruery (Placentia, CA), and Doug Constantiner, formerly of The Bruery.  Societe Brewing Company is a production brewery and tasting room occupying a 16,000 sq. ft. building in the centrally located at 8262 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, CA.
