Short’s Brewing from Bellaire, MI have some fun events lined up for this fall. More Short’s Info to come.
Short’s Halloween Party: Come join us on Saturday, October 30 for our annual Halloween costume party. Funkin’ Punkin’ will be on tap and Code Brown, a Ween cover band from Detroit, will be providing some excellent tunes to fit the festive theme. Costumes are not required, but are strongly encouraged. There will be a costume contest, with awards going to the winners for an array of categories.
Brewski Bash: Quite possibly the greatest party of the year, Brewski Bash is back and better than ever!! Our annual welcoming of winter party will be on Saturday, November 27. Short’s will be releasing their popular stout series (6 stouts total), giving out free ski passes to Shanty Creek resorts, and getting their groove on all night long to the musical styling of Funktion (back by popular demand). This is a party you don’t want to miss!

Skitoberfest – This is a festival celebrating Michigan Made Products and we would like you to be here. Short’s will be featuring a handful of beers on October 2nd. Click here for details.
UPtoberfest – October 9th, 2:00-7:00pm beside Hereford & Hops in Escanaba, MI tickets $25.oo UPtoberfest is the U.P.’s first wine and beer festival, held on the beautiful lakefront in downtown Escanaba, MI. 2010 marks the fifth year of the festival, and we hope the most successful as well! Short’s will be on hand! This is the second year that the festival is being organized by Escanaba’s homebrew club, the Bay de Noc Brewers. They are bringing a wealth of knowledge about beer, homebrewing and festivals to the event as well as volunteering all of their time and efforts. The Iceman Cometh: Team Huma is at it again, and this time it’s to conquer the Iceman. One of the areas most celebrated mountain bike races, the Iceman takes place on November 6, and Short’s will be there!! Come cheer for the twelve Short’s employee riders who will be racing that day and partake in the celebration afterwards where we will be pouring a variety of Short’s brew.
