Saint Arnold Brewing Company will give each celebrating couple a set of bottle opener rings for wedding bands.
When: 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014
Where: George R. Brown Convention Center
Saint Arnold Chapel, next to the Saint Arnold Beer Garden
Who: An ordained minister dressed as St. Arnold of Metz, patron saint of brewers, and hundreds of craft beer lovers attending Houston’s inaugural Big Brew Grand Tasting Session.
Why: Mostly for fun, but some people actually take advantage of this opportunity to have a truly memorable wedding. In recent years, a visit to Saint Arnold’s chapel at the Great American Beer Festival has become a tradition for craft beer lovers, with more than 1,200 ceremonies completed.
“We seized on this as an opportunity to celebrate the love of great beer and good friends,” Saint Arnold Director of Marketing and Events, Lennie Ambrose. “With a selection of 1,000 craft beers available at our Big Brew weddings, this is the perfect marriage between vows and craft beer.”
