Marin Brewing’s 14th Annual BreastFest Beer Festival On Tap Next Month

Larkspur, CA. – Marin Brewing Company’s The Breastfest Beer Festival, one of Northern California’s most prestigious tasting events will be taking place this summer on Saturday July 12th, 2014 from 2 pm – 6 pm at Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion.

All proceeds fund the non-profit health center, Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, which supports economically challenged woman in their fight against cancer. Last year the event raised over $40,000 for Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic and organizers are expecting this year’s turnout raises even more for this worthy cause.

The event, now in its 14th year, brings together over 80 breweries, several cider houses & wineries, and hundreds of local beer lovers. Ticket price includes live music from local band Daze on the Green, food from amazing local restaurants, unlimited beer & wine tasting, and a Breastfest commemorative cup. The event will also be raffling off an assortment of gift certificates and prizes including a Bridgeway bike from Marin Bikes.

General Manager of Marin Brewing Company and founder of the event, Jennifer Procopio, commented, “What really makes this fundraiser special is that it’s 100% volunteer organized and we donate all the proceeds to the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic in the East Bay. We are able to pull this event off with the hard work of so many helping hands that generously donate their time and efforts, and with the support of Brendan Moylan, owner of Marin Brewing Company. This is a good time for a great cause and we are proud of what we’ve accomplished this far and how much we’ve raised for CMCC over the past 13 years.”​

Cost of attendance for this year’s Breastfest is $55 in advance and $65 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at the website www.thebreastfest.org.
