Liquid Aloha Fest Kicks Off Summer Right With Music, Beer And More
Saturday, June 12 At The Strand In Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach, CA – Kona Brewing Company and OC Weekly will be celebrating the start of summer with the annual Liquid Aloha Festival on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at The Strand in Huntington Beach, CA at 5th and Pacific Coast Highway. The free daylong celebration kicks off OC Weekly’s 14th annual Summer Guide issue and a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the California Surf Museum in Oceanside, CA.
This year’s Liquid Aloha Fest is headlined by Iglu and Hartly, joined by Lee Koch, Two Guns, and Moonshine and The Drugs. DJ Velvet Touch will perform between sets. Kona Brewing’s Longboard Island Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale, and Wailua Wheat will be flowing beginning at 3 pm at The Strand’s streetside beer garden. All ages festivities wrap up at 8, but the party will continue for those 21 and up at the legendary Shorebreak Hotel afterparty featuring the island beats of Danny Maika.
