Irish Republic St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2012
The Irish Republic St. Patrick’s Day Festival promises live entertainment, traditional Irish food, beer and games in Downtown Chandler on March 17th.
Chandler, AZ – The luck of the Irish abounds in Downtown Chandler with plans for the Irish Republic St. Patrick’s Day Festival in full swing. More than double the party space from previous years will draw thousands of patrons on March 17, 2012 when Irish Republic will invade the AJ Chandler Park (west) with green as far as the eye can see. The Festival starts at noon and continues on until 2 a.m. At the end of the rainbow, patrons will enjoy a bounty of Irish good fortune with games, live entertainment, traditional food and tons of beer. Irish themed games will include cabbage bowling, beer pong, bean bag toss, a dunk the leprechaun tank and more.
The live entertainment lineup is packed with Irish delights including bagpiper, Mike Mercier from 2-4 p.m. and Irish dancers. Other entertainment includes Along For The Ride from 4-6 p.m. and the Insomniacs from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Finally, DJ Hanzerelli will finish off the night spinning festive beats from 10:30 p.m. – 2 a.m.
General admission to the Irish Republic St. Patrick’s Day Festival is $10, presale tickets will be available for $8 and designated drivers will get in for $5. For an extra special treat, opt for the $40 VIP access ticket which includes general admission, all access lanyard, exclusive entry into VIP area with catered food and treats, no lines and access to private restrooms. Presale tickets can be purchased online or in person at Irish Republic. From noon-5 p.m. all ages are welcome to enjoy the Irish Republic St. Patrick’s day Festival; however, the event will be 21-and-over after 5 p.m. Children 12-years-old and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. A portion of the proceeds from the Irish Republic St. Patrick’s Day Festival will benefit Chandler Fire Honor Guard/ Pipes and Drums.
