Holiday Season at Twain’s
Lookin’ to celebrate with fresh brews and great music? Check out Twain’s this week!
Tues. 12/18 – 8:30 – Blistering bluesman GEOFF ACHISON is joined by OLIVER WOOD for a rockin’ holiday party jam – expect multiple special guests to join in the fun on stage. This could shape up to be a show of historical proportions, musically speaking. Don’t miss it!
Thurs. 12/20 – 9:00 – Songwriter extraordinaire ALEX BRENNER, formerly of Sodajerk, now goes by SwingSet. His roadhouse, from the gut tunes are probing and somehow seem immediately familiar. Live, solo, electric, expect a memorable evening. Copies of his excellent new CD “How to Make a LIving Selling Yourself Short” will be available at the show.
Also, Twain’s will be celebrating the New Year in style, offering a special 3-course Beer Dinner on New Year’s Eve in lieu of our regular menu. Expect some unique beer offerings as well as a hearty, tasty meal planned to satisfy. Our appetizers and some pub favorites will also be available that evening.
Join us New Year’s Day as well for bowl games on HD and a scrumptious brunch. Corned beef, potato, and red pepper hash? Silver Dollar pecan flapjacks? Best bloody mary in town? It’s 2008 at Twain’s.
Reminder – Twain’s will be closed on 12/17 for our staff party, and on 12/24, and 12/25 for some family time.
Cheers!
