Full Sail Wants You To “Meet The Brewer And The Bier”
Full Sail Brewing Celebrates The Season With New Brewer’s Share Beer “Nate’s Übergehopft Fest Bier”
Brewery invites you to “Meet the Brewer and the Bier”
Hood River, Oregon – To celebrate the coming of the fall season, Full Sail Brewing Company will release a new beer in their Brewer’s Share line up, “Nate’s Übergehopft Fest Bier,” developed and brewed by Full Sail brewer, Nate Jacobson. Nate’s bier is a nontraditional Oktoberfest beer brewed with an abundance of Pacific Northwest hops that add a strong citrus hop aroma.
The hops are balanced by a malty sweet body from the imported Munich malt. The bitterness is apparent in the clean lager finish. Traditionally, Oktoberfest beers have a mild hop profile and are tapped in the fall. Nate was inspired to brew a beer to celebrate the fall in a distinctive Northwest fashion, that is, with über hops. ABV 6.6% IBU 62
You are invited to swing by and raise a toast with brewer Nate Jacobson and the Full Sail Crew to “Meet the Brewer and the Beer” at their Riverplace Brewery in Portland, on Monday, September 14th, from 5:00 to 6:30PM and at the Full Sail Tasting Room and Pub in Hood River, on Wednesday, September 16th, from 5:00 to 6:30PM.
The Brewer’s Share series is a line up of small batch draft beers where each of the Full Sail brewers takes a turn hand-crafting a single batch recipe of their choosing. Full Sail’s Brewer’s Share beers will be exclusively available on tap at Full Sail’s Tasting Room and Pub in Hood River, Oregon, and at Full Sail’s Brewery at Riverplace, in Portland, Oregon. Growlers to go are also available. The next Brewer’s Share will be crafted by Full Sail brewer Cole Hackbarth and is expected in late November.
