The hour is upon us when the harvest moon and eerie twilight signal the arrival of Coney Island FREAKTOBERFEST, the craft beer of choice for the living and undead alike. Conjured from 6 malts and 6 hops, this 6.66% ABV lager is infused with the blood of free-range, organic zombies from the haunts of Coney Island itself.

4TH Annual Freaktoberfest Boutique Beer & Music Festival | Brooklyn, NY
We had blast kicking off NY Craft Beer Week at FREAKTOBERFEST with our fellow brewers and brew lovers and in the midst of several top-notch bands, including SKI Beer’s own WORKOUT, burlesque performers, and our favorite MC, Mr. Donny Vomit. Here are some pictures of the merry mayhem!

Marvel at the interplay between the House Cured Salmon Flatbread and world-class lager. You’ll be amazed at the balancing act between Chef Thall’s Ginger and Coconut Curry Steamed Mussels and Coney Island Albino Python, a White Lager brewed with ginger, sweet orange peel, and crushed fennel seed.

Celebrate Halloween early with Donny Vomit, former MC of the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, as he perform dazzling and death-defying sideshow stunts, including his signature Human Blockhead. Coney Island Craft Lagers will take over the taps this evening, so don’t miss Human Blockhead (10% ABV Imperial American Bock) or seasonal Freaktoberfest (6.66% ABV Halloween Lager)!

Coney Island comes to the famed haunted bar, Cigars and Stripes! Join beer geeks and true freaks in an actual Ringling Bros sideshow tent to indulge in 16 Shmaltz Brewing drafts on tap all night long, including blood-red Freaktoberfest, while sideshow and burlesque acts shock, amaze, and tantalize.
