Beers Made By Walking; Denver Museum of Nature and Science – 2001 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80205; 5:30 to 8:30pm
Beers Made By Walking is a program that invites brewers to go on nature hikes, and urban walks, and make new beer inspired by the edible and medicinal plants from the trail. This year Dry Dock created the High Line Plum Saison-Brett for this festival, inspired by the wild plums that grow on the High Line Canal Trail in the suburbs of Denver. This beer was brewed in collaboration with the High Line Canal Conservancy, an organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance the High Line Canal, an historic, 71 mile long urban trail running through the Denver Metro area. For more information about this festival, visit beersmadebywalking.com.
