DR7 Houston release date now 9/30, Oktoberfest Party and We Survived Ike!
Dear Saint Arnold’s Army:
OK, Ike was definitely the uninvited houseguest that will not be welcome back anytime soon. We hope that you are safe, doing well and have electricity. If you don’t have electricity, we hope that you get it back soon. The brewery made it through with only minor damage and a loss of electricity for most of last week, but we are back up and running and didn’t lose any beer. Our brew crew did relatively well with minor damage and dealing with the inconveniences of power losses at homes.
DIVINE RESERVE NO. 7 RELEASE DELAYED ONE WEEK IN HOUSTON
We are now going to be releasing Divine Reserve No. 7 starting Tuesday, September 30 in Houston. Our distributor sustained some significant damage and was closed most of last week. They lost quite a bit of product, but fortunately not in the beer cold box where our cases are kept.
Also, not all the stores that would receive Divine Reserve were open last week to confirm orders and it is possible that not all of them will be open yet this week. Thus, we decided it would be prudent to move the release date back one week. Divine Reserve No. 7 will still be released this Tuesday in Austin, DFW and San Antonio.

SAINT ARNOLD OKTOBERFEST PARTY AT THE BREWERY ON OCTOBER 17 & 18
Our annual celebration of Oktoberfest will be on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 this year. Brave Combo will be returning with their high octane polkas that will have everybody tapping their toes and dancing. Also included is a good German dinner and our special Oktoberfest mug. This event sells out so please make your reservations soon!

WANNA BE A SAINT ARNOLD VOLUNTEER?
If you have ever wanted to be a volunteer at our Saturday tour, now is your chance. The volunteers are those nice people who fill your glass with beer, hand you wooden nickels and otherwise make sure that you have a good time when you visit the brewery. There are perks to being a volunteer, such as after the tour cleanup is complete, hanging out and enjoying beers, invitations to special events and cool volunteer t-shirts. But there is a catch: you must be a TABC certified server. To do this, you must take a 4 hour, beer-free class every 2 years that costs you $25. We will be offering one of these courses on Sunday, October 5 at the brewery from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. If you are interested, please contact Ann to register ([email protected] or 713-686-9494).
