Deja Brew – Half Batch Variety Night
Another Guest Brewer evening! Monday March 23rd, 2009 @ 6:00 PM
Dan Kramer, Master Brewer at Owen O’Leary’s (now closed), Opa Opa Steak House, and Brewmasters Tavern in Williamsburg, will be joining us and creating recipes for this event. Dan was Dave’s mentor and guide at Owen O’Leary’s. Dan is a great brewer, and brought Dave’s brewing skills to new levels. Apparently it is possible to teach a pig to sing.
Dan has put together a unique list of recipes for the evening! I’m very excited to make these beers. Here’s the line up..
- IPA Wheat
- Bock
- Lavender Wheat (Lavender is added as a dry hop!)
- Pilsner
- Extra Special Oak (French Oak Rice is added as a dry hop)
- Imperial Wheat (big beer, oh baby!)
