Dark Lord Day – Last Minute Details!
Munster, IN – Last Minute Details From Three Floyds Brew Pub regarding Dark Lord Day 2009
The day is upon us. In less than 12 hours the doors will officially open for Dark Lord Day 2009 and we wanted to let you know about some last minute details. We’ve had some questions and comments trickle in over the last 24 hours and so we want to make sure that everyone is clear on the following:
1.) All Dark Lord bottles must be purchased in cash. Each bottle is $15 just as it has been in years past. We will have ATM machines available at the event so don’t worry about not having enough cash to get your bottles.
2.) The sale of Dark Lord Day officially starts at 11AM and Dark Lord Day runs until 11PM. People will be starting the fun much earlier than the 11AM opening time but you won’t be able to purchase Dark Lord bottles until 11AM and you’ll need to have Golden Tickets in order to do so. Do not stand in line for Dark Lord bottles before 6PM if you don’t have Golden Tickets.
3.) There was some confusion about the cut-off time for redeeming your Golden Tickets (our site said one thing and the tickets say another). You will be able to redeem your Golden Tickets between 11AM and 6PM. If we have bottles of Dark Lord left over after the 6PM deadline then we will open the sale to everyone.
4.) We’re going to be recording the bands for the creation of a live concert CD. We still have to nail down exactly which bands and which songs will make the final cut based on how well their songs turn out. We’ll also be recording video of our staff, our guests, the bands, and all of our supporters who wish to be filmed. This will then be professionally edited to make a DVD documentary of Dark Lord Day 2009. Those interested in pre-ordering a copy of the CD and DVD can lock in a copy by tracking down our new tech geek, Patrick, who will be making the rounds all day Saturday. 5.) We’ve made every effort to mark off areas around the brewery that you are not allowed to park at. If you park in areas marked as restricted you will be ticketed and towed at your expense. We have done our best to secure more parking around our facility and we ask that you please respect out neighbors. This should be our last email before the event.
