Boulevard Beer West Coast Launch with Pop-Up Bar Events
To celebrate the west coast launch of Boulevard Beer and the last stop on Boulevard’s VW bus road trip, a pop-up bar – BLVD on the Pier – will open on the iconic Santa Monica Pier for the summer – 1-5pm Sundays, July 12th – August 2nd! BLVD on the Pier will offer an array of Boulevard craft beer for just $5 and delicious eats from Venice’s new hotspot restaurant Clutch.
Each week, Boulevard will partner with local artists and champions of the community including local clothing brands, record labels, record stores and vintage shops. Each Sunday will feature a different live performance, hand-picked trunk shows, and backyard games including ping pong from Beard Pong, Bimini Ring Toss, cornhole, and oversized Labyrinth, Connect Four and Jenga. The kick-off on July 12th will be presented by indie record label Hit City U.S.A. with a performance by LA rock band Only You and trunk show from Abbot Kinney’s vintage shop Pistol Club.

Boulevard Brewing Co. Hosting Pop-Up Event Series on the Santa Monica Pier featuring Live Music, Games, Fashion, Food & More
July 12th Kick-off Presented by Hit City U.S.A. with Live Performance by Only You
WHAT: Boulevard, the Midwest region’s largest craft brewery, is capping off its recent summer road trip to California with a series of pop-up bar events – titled BLVD on the Pier – on the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The VIP lounge for the Twilight Concert Series will play host to these celebrations marking Boulevard’s expansion in the state, beginning on Sunday, July 12th and continuing throughout the summer on July 19th, July 26th and August 2nd. BLVD on the Pier will include a wide assortment of Boulevard favorites for just $5 per serving. Events will also feature local artists and champions of the community including local clothing brands, record labels, record stores and vintage shops. Each Sunday will highlight a different live performance, along with hand-picked trunk shows, backyard games (cornhole, ping pong from Beard Pong, oversized Jenga, and more), and food inspired by Boulevard’s hometown of Kansas City.
The kick-off will be presented by independent Los Angeles record label Hit City U.S.A. with a performance by LA rock band Only You.
