The Monk’s Kettle Sip ‘n’ Supper Society is very excited to announce a paired beer dinner with one of Oregon’s most exciting new breweries. In spite of opening less than four years ago, Ninkasi has quickly established themselves as one of the brewers to watch anywhere in the country. Behind the rapid word of mouth driven success of their flagship, Total Domination IPA, the Ninkasi brand is becoming synonymous with elegant, tastefully bold brew throughout the North West.
MENU:
1st Course: Portobello mushroom soup garnished with fried truffle shallots
Beer pairing: Spring Reign (Spring Seasonal – 6.0% ABV)
2nd Course: Coconut curry with Ocean Garden shrimp served over a savory thai basil rice cake
Beer pairing: Total Domination IPA (Northwest IPA – 6.7% ABV)
3rd Course: Cumin rubbed pork tenderloin, goat cheese mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and a rosemary-orange glaze
Beer pairing: Tricerahops Double IPA (Double IPA – 8.8% ABV)
4th Course: Believer Double Red (Imperial Northwest Red Ale – 6.9% ABV)

5th Course: Tarragon chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream sandwich with Oatis Oatmeal Stout chocolate sauce
Beer pairing: Oatis Oatmeal Stout (Oatmeal Stout – 7.5% ABV)
