Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Fest to be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds

WHEN: SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 2008 – 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Special VIP admission runs from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., followed by general admission beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Moorea Marketing will hold the second annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival at the Maryland State Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 5th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Attendees will able to indulge in tasting the best beers, sipping the finest bourbons and eating the best barbeque that Maryland has to offer. Over sixty craft beers including Clipper City, Dos Equis, Flying Dog, Heavy Seas, Magic Hat, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Wild Goose will be on hand for sampling. Over forty different bourbons will be available for tasting, such as Jack Daniels, Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace, Russell Reserve and more.
While enjoying the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, guests can also enjoy the diverse sounds of local band, Mr. Greengenes, who will be performing live on the COMCAST Main Stage from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. In the Tasting Theater, there will be over a half a dozen tasting classes to heighten people’s awareness of the flavor profile of great bourbons. In addition, the event will offer everything from arts and craft exhibits to an outdoor heated cigar tent for cigar aficionados.
