Alesmith Welcomes back, Evil Dead Red!
AleSmith is pleased to announce the return of Evil Dead Red, just in time for Halloween! EDR is a heavily hopped American Red Ale with a rich, caramel, malty backbone and distinctly evil mahogany color. Weighing in at 6.66% abv, it’s the perfect beer to sip while day-dreaming of your next Halloween costume.
So keep a look out for Evil Dead Red at your favorite Southern California watering hole. It will be available at the brewery for tasting and growler fills throughout the month of October – or as long as un-humanly possible!
X Extra Pale Ale Cask @ O’Brien’s
AleSmith casks have returned! This Thursday, October 2nd, Tom and the folks at O’Brien’s will be serving up a cask of X, our Extra Pale Ale, dry-hopped with a combination of Simcoe, Cascade, Amarillo and Columbus hops. Enjoy!
San Diego Brewers Guild @ GABF
For those of you headed to Colorado next week for the SOLD OUT GABF, be sure to stop by the San Diego Brewers Guild table in the State Guilds Pavillion and say ‘hello’ to our friendly brewers. AleSmith beers will be poured during Thursdays session and both Saturday sessions, along with other fine brews from the San Diego area. Have fun and bring your designated driver!
Hamilton’s 2nd Anniversary Party
It’s been about two years since Scott Blair made everyone’s lives a little better by opening Hamilton’s Tavern in South Park, and we couldn’t be happier for him. Ballast Point Anniversary Party!
Ballast Point Brewing Company is celebrating its 12th anniversary and will be holding an Anniversary Party and Beer Festival on Saturday, October 25th, from 1pm-5pm at Liberty Station. Tickets are $35 if purchased online, or $40 the day of the event. This includes ten 4 oz samples with additional wristbands available for purchase. Along with celebrating 12 years of awesome Ballast Point beer, you’ll also be benefiting YMCA Youth & Family Services and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, so don’t miss it. More information here.

Tasting Room Hours, Brewery Tours
AleSmith is open for growler fills, bottle sales and sampling on Fridays from 3pm-5pm and Saturdays from 1pm-4pm.
