The Year in Beer – TheFullPint.com Recaps 2008

What a fun year it has been, here at thefullpint.com . This post will recap some of the fun we have had this year, including our interviews, mouth watering news releases, and interactive polls.  We got to sample many great beers, and we rolled to a few really cool local festivals.  While possible, it is going to be hard to top that line up for 2009.  Take a trip down memory lane, as we recap all the great beer happenings at thefullpint.com .

2008 Interviews – Dan of thefullpint.com attempts to hone in on his interview giving skills while bringing the knowledge of the brewers to you!  Stay tuned for 2009’s lineup, where we will bring you an interview with New Belgium’s Peter Boukaert and many more brewers. 2009 Wow Beers – While we attempted to get our hands around these beers below, not every one was obtained. According to our behind the scenes statistics, and our extensive online research, both you and I found these beers to be the “Big Deal” this year. Click the links to read on.

Isabelle Proximus – Collaboration Lambic made by Allagash, Dogfish Head, Lost Abbey, Avery Brewing, and Russian River.
Deschutes Dissident – A sour beer that didn’t make it to Southern California through normal channels =-(
Dogfish Head Theobrama – An ancient style brew with chocolate and other extreme ingredients. (Soon to be reviewed by TFP).
Firestone Walker XII – Celebrating Firestone Walker’s 12th year in brewing, a blended, bourbon barrel aged treat!
