Left Hand Brewing Company’s JuJu Ginger is a kickass summer beer. Brewed with organic ginger root, its a refreshing alternative to the pilsners found in every summer bbq beer tub.

Only available local to where I live at this time I really enjoy Schooner’s Belgium Syle White Wheat Beer & their Pale Ale. The White Beer isn’t over spiced, it’s just right!!

Arrogant Bastard!!! Beer drinking is year round not seasonal. OK, Avery White Rascle is a great beer to throw back on a hot summers day. Oh, and Ruination. (get my point)

A great crisp IPA, or on a really hot day I like a dry, tart gueuze…it can be amazingly refreshing. In general, weather and time of year are nothing more than just two of the myriad of influences that determine what beer I choose when I open the fridge / go to the cellar.

My current summer fav is Redhook’s Long Hammer IPA. The citrus and spice cut through the sweaty, gummy humidity of the South but it is light enough to get you through a night of dancing in the street!
