I have to put in one for Samuel Adams Summer because that was what i drank this summer. it was always on !!SALE!! also really like Widmer Hef and Drifter.
OMG Has no one hat the wonderful Magic Hat “9”.
Best beer of the summer by a country mile(inho of course).
And this coming from someone who lives in Michigan and Oberon is everywhere.
Left Hand Brewing Company’s JuJu Ginger is a kickass summer beer. Brewed with organic ginger root, its a refreshing alternative to the pilsners found in every summer bbq beer tub.
Left Hand Brewing Company’s JuJu Ginger is my go-to summer beer. Brewed with organic ginger root, its a refreshing alternative to the pilsners found in every summer bbq beer tub.
Only available local to where I live at this time I really enjoy Schooner’s Belgium Syle White Wheat Beer & their Pale Ale. The White Beer isn’t over spiced, it’s just right!!
Arrogant Bastard!!! Beer drinking is year round not seasonal. OK, Avery White Rascle is a great beer to throw back on a hot summers day. Oh, and Ruination. (get my point)
A great crisp IPA, or on a really hot day I like a dry, tart gueuze…it can be amazingly refreshing. In general, weather and time of year are nothing more than just two of the myriad of influences that determine what beer I choose when I open the fridge / go to the cellar.
Kona Longboard Lager! My little grocery store on the corner had this on sale one day and I gave it a shot if only for it’s kicky packaging. It’s great!
I have a new favorite summer beer that they told me will probably not be released
Blue Moon “Ebb Tide” (Experimental Belgian Pale w/ Hops & Hibiscus; 5.4%)
I got to try it at the ACBF in Boston last weekend DELISH!
My current summer fav is Redhook’s Long Hammer IPA. The citrus and spice cut through the sweaty, gummy humidity of the South but it is light enough to get you through a night of dancing in the street!
