    I agree with a few of the others, it would be criminal not to have Pivo Pils on there. Almost a perfect beer…even if it isn’t Double Barrel Aged with 8 lbs of hops per oz and fermented with 8 different kinds of belgian yeast by monks wearing nothing but Miley Cyrus Robes.

    Jester King Atrial Rubicite. Jester King, while not as widely distributed as some of the others on the list, they craft some of the best beers around. Pretty much all of their beer is delicious.

    Hoparazzi Mission Impechable. A legend is born. A new era of beer is here. Or if you want to quibble over whether or not it was technically “available” in 2013 (it was, a couple of times if you knew where to be), it’s an early front-runner for Best of 2014.

    I know it’s novelty, but not a sauce is the clear and present winner. It’s an incredible brew that breaks the mold of what a beer can be.

    Valiant Brewing’s Jericho Imperial IPA – had this in bottles finally and it’s top shelf! Great body, rolling hop bitterness throughout and just plain gorgeous!!

    Oops, I have to remove my previous nomination since it is draft only.

    Then I say Lakewood Brewing’s Brabo’s Cut!! It has wonderful brown sugar notes on the nose and beautiful honey drops on the palate. It is best when served at room temperature and with a few months of age in the bottle. This is by far my favorite Belgian Dark Strong of 2013.

    Smuttynose Durty. It was in their short batch series this year but will be more widely available next year. Here in NH we loved this hoppy brown ale immensely both on draft and in bottles. Possibly the best thing they have ever brewed.
