(Berkeley, CA) – On Saturday July 7, 2018, Fieldwork and The Full Pint will be releasing cans of Mount Sierra Double IPA at the Berkeley tasting room when doors open at 11AM. Please visit Fieldwork Brewing’s social media accounts, @fieldworkbrewingco on Instagram and /FieldworkBrewingCo on Facebook as we get near the event for pricing, quantity and what other locations will have this beer available.
While the components of Mount Sierra might be nonsensical to most, at its core, this Double IPA is all about friends. Mount Sierra (in name and label imagery) is the technical college Jonny and Danny Fullpint met at many moons ago. After the shock of having the same last name wore off, TheFullPint and The Full Pint Podcast was born, 11 years later, they slummed it with us here at Fieldwork to celebrate their longevity and threw a list of ingredients at us to see what we could do. The result is a Double IPA brewed with Mosaic hop kief and a slew of Southern Hemisphere hops (Waimea, Dr. Rudi, and Southern Cross). The hop blend creates a really pleasant blend of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine that envelops this mildly malty but ultimately chewy Double IPA.
