The Vertical Epic series from Stone Brewing has finally come to a close. What better way to celebrate this incredible benchmark in brewing than by trying almost every one of these beers with special food pairings!

These ales were specifically designed to be aged until after December 12th, 2012. Now is the time to enjoy them in a “vertical” tasting. Each one unique to it’s year of release. Each with its own “twist & turn” in the plotline. Each one released one year, one month and one day from the previous year’s edition.

With each ticket purchased comes the chance to try 05.05.05-12.12.12 (10.10.10 on Oak!) paired with 8 different dishes created specially for each beer. You will also go home with a limited edition Vertical Epic Commemorative Glass and the right to say “I was there man!”

“The Vertical Epic Ale series started simply enough in 2001, with Stone CEO and co-founder Greg Koch suggesting we release a different  Belgian-inspired beer suitable for aging each year on the date when the day, month and year registered by the same digit. The brewhouse forged forward with this initiative, producing 11 beers that, unlike many on the market at the time, were intended to be laid down so they could be opened when the last of those dates came to pass on December 12, 2012.”
