Hi-Wire Brewing Celebrates 2nd Annual Oktoberfest
(Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing will be celebrating its 2nd Annual Oktoberfest, Saturday, August 26th from 12pm-5pm at their Big Top Production Brewery in Biltmore Village | 2 Huntsman Place.
After taking home the Gold Medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival in the German-Style Maerzen beer-style category for Zirkusfest Oktoberfest, Hi-Wire Brewing is ready to celebrate. The festival will include fun-filled team and individual games including a grain sack toss, tricycle race, stein hoisting competition, and brat toss. Registration on site.
The day will conclude with a hot dog eating contest hosted by Foothills Local Meats. The entry fee is $30 with a chance of winning a $200 cash prize. Interested participants can register by emailing [email protected].
Traditional German style polka music will be played by the Mountain Top Polka Band, providing all your favorite waltz, polka dances, and more! Foothills Local Meats will be serving up a delicious menu full of brats, pretzels, and Oktoberfest favorites.
Admission is free, while a custom stein + 1 33oz pour is $15. Additional 33oz Flagship and Fall Seasonal fills including our GABF Gold Medal winning Zirkusfest Oktoberfest Lager will be $7.
