Upright Fantasia

From Upright – Fantasia(pronounced fan-tah-zee-uh) is barrel fermented with fresh peaches and made with multiple yeasts and bacteria, yielding a sour beer with aromas and flavors reminiscent of traditional Belgian lambics.

Upright Brewing – Upright Fantasia – 750 ml.bottle poured into a goblet. 5.75% abv. Thanks to Jer’s tasting group.

Appearance:  Pours a an amber gold with no head.

Aroma:  A little chlorine/clorox, peach and funk.

Taste:  Peach pit, tannins, tart peach, earthy yeast, finishes sour and peachy.

Mouthfeel:  Lively, sparkling wine like.

Overall: Now I know why those Pacific Northwesters won’t part with this beer for trade. A real work of art.
