From The Bruery – A 6.66% ABV milk stout brewed using fresh pumpkins from the Cal Poly Farm Store, seasonal spices, aged on cedar chips, is the next installment in our Provisions Series of beers.

Appearance:  Pours black with a tight tan cap.

Aroma:  Strong pie spice up front. Over powering.

Taste: Strong nutmeg, chocolate, licorice. Finishes bitter.

Mouthfeel: Full and creamy.

Overall: I like pumpkin stouts, but the spice profile was a bit too strong for me. Decent.
