Surly Wet

From Surly – 4,800 lbs of hops picked fresh in Washington and shipped to Minnesota immediately. We brewed this beer three days later. This is a hop-forward beer, dry with subdued malt flavors.

Surly Brewing – Surly Wet (2011/All Citra) – 16 oz. can poured into a goblet. 7.5% abv. Thanks Caleb!

Appearance: Pours a translucent copper with a creamy white cap. Leaves crazy lacing.

Aroma: Orange. Dank medical sativa based bud, cotton candy, pineapple.

Taste: Orange, pine, dry malt, twangy citrusy bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied.

Overall: Lives up to the hype! Has a real distinct flavor profile, and easily the best “wet hopped” beer I’ve had.
