Review – Widmer Bros. Broken Halo IPA

Poured From 12oz. Bottle to pint glass…

Appearance:
Poured a slight murky burnt orange. With a minimal amount of lacing, and some fair head retention.

Aroma:
HUGE HOP aroma on this one! Nice citrus/floral (mostly floral) aroma with a slight lingering of malt.

Mouthfeel:
Medium/Heavy with a fair amount of effervescence. Not too “sticky” or cloying.

Flavor:
Starts very slightly malty and then the hops come through in full force! The awesome hop flavor lingers in your mouth, begging you for a 2nd sip..and a 3rd, and a 4th..haha

Overall:
A true Hop-Heads IPA. Not for the faint of heart! If you love HUUUUGE hop flavor and aroma, I suggest you check this out, a very strong showing from Widmer Bros….
