Review – Three Floyds Mikkeller Oatgoop

From Three Floyds: This is a joint adventure between Three Floyds in Munster Indiana & Mikkeller in Copenhagen, Denmark an Oat Wine sold in 22 oz bottles only and brewed and bottled at Three Floyds.

Three Floyds/Mikkeller – Oatgoop Oatwine – 22 oz. bottle poured into my New Belgium beer glass. 10.4% abv. Sent from my pal Josh in Indiana.

Appearance: Dark red, with visible rising carbonation. Has a bright white 1/2 inch, sudsy head that leaves behind sudsy lacing.

Aroma: Large amounts of peaches and mangos.

Taste: Peach, mango, spicy bitter hops and brown sugar.

Mouthfeel: Sticky and chewy!

Overall: Not overly complex, but gosh darn tasty, sweet, and after drinking it all the way down, strong.
