Great Lakes Brewing Co. – Edmund Fitzgerald Porter – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 5.8% abv. From trade on ratebeer.com with Dan from PA!
Appearance: Pours a midnight red, that lets about 5% light through. Atop lies a mere gathering of white suds.
Aroma: Roasted, medium bodied coffee beans, and a freshly prepared cup of coffee with cream and sugar. A tad chocolaty.
Taste: Bitter, black coffee, coffee beans, and finishes with a small hop spice.
Mouthfeel: Thin and fizzy.
Overall: This brew is large on roast and coffee. When I am in the mood for this type of beer, this would be at the top of the list.

Sounds like a winner to me! Don’t think I can get it in Jersey though! 🙁
