Odell Myrcenary Double India Pale Ale
From Odell – Named for Myrcene, a component of essential oils in the hop flower, Myrcenary Double IPA is our tribute to those who revere the illustrious hop, and their unyielding exploit to craft hop forward beers. Brewed with a blend of hops containing the highest levels of Myrcene, this double IPA prevails with a tropical fruit-like flavor, a pungent floral aroma, and a clean getaway.
Odell Brewing – Odell Myrcenary Double India Pale Ale – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.3% abv.
Appearance: Pours an orange tinted gold with a retaining white head. Leaves behind a great deal of lacing.
Aroma: Humungous orange, grapefruit and pine.
Taste: Juicy citrus (orange, grapefruit, pineapple) like hop explosion followed by a deep pine bitterness held together with a fair amount of dry pale malt. Bitterness lingers for a decent duration.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, sticky with modest carbonation.
Overall: An above average DIPA with an amazing hop bouquet and the malt knew it’s role.

Second that Kelly! Only above average? Dan is either a complete n00b or he has lost all credibility as a beer reviewer.
