Ninkasi Believer Double Red Ale

Ninkasi Brewing – Believer Double Red Ale –  22 oz. bottle poured into an Imperial pint glass – 6.9% abv. Purchased at Bevmo Pasadena, CA.

Appearance: Pours a dark clear red with a creamy 1/2 inch layer of dense foam.

Aroma: Spicy, hard candy like malt and a decent level of aromatic hops.

Taste: Big bread crust, caramel malt sweetness and bitter hops.

Mouthfeel: Thick and moderately carbonated.

Overall: Big bitter yet sweet, drinkable red ale. I really like this beer a lot.
