New Holland Brewing – New Holand Dragons Milk Vintage 2011 – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 10% abv. From Triangle Liquor in Valparaiso, IN
Appearance: Pours a coca cola brown with a thin ring of white. Not too thick looking from the pour.
Aroma: Big aroma of whiskey, pretty much the most dominant smell from this brew. Chocolate, coffee and wood as well.
Taste: Whiskey, dark chocolate and vanilla with a sturdy layer of roast binding to the sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, too thin for my liking. You could make an argument that at least it isn’t goopy or syrupy.
Overall: I thought the whiskey was a bit over powering and the body wasn’t there to accommodate it.
