From Mikkeller – An American Style India Pale Ale

Mikkeller – Mikkeller Green Gold – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 7.0 % abv

Appearance:  Pours a murky amber brown with a nice foamy tan head that retains for the entire session.

Aroma:  Big mango, dried pineapple, fresh cut grass, citrus essence, brown sugar.

Taste:  Toasty spicy malt, a mouthful of resinous piny hops, some grapefruit. Finishes with assertive piney hop bitterness. The malt bill has a touch of dark chocolate as well.

Mouthfeel:  Medium bodied, soda like carbonation.

Overall:  A very tasty hoppy beer. More like a hoppy amber, but regardless a hit.
