Mad River Jamaica Sunset IPA

From Mad River Brewing – We call this beer Jamaica Sunset because of its golden reddish hue. We use five different hops for aroma, bitterness and floral character. You get a crisp clean flavor and complex hop finish.

Mad River Brewing – Mad River Jamaica Sunset IPA – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 7.0% abv. Purchased at Whole Foods Market Arroyo Pasadena, CA.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white film atop. Upon closer look, you can see yellow yeast sediment floating around.

Aroma: Orange zest, grapefruit zest, clementine and sugar.

Taste: Grapefruit, peach, light toffee like malt, and big bitter hops with a slight fruity finish.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, juicy with average carbonation.

Overall: A pretty big juicy IPA. Not that bitter after getting half way through.
