Kern River Just Outstanding IPA
From Kern River Brewing – This India Pale Ale has a strong malt character and a large hop profile. We dry hop this beer with Simcoe and Amarillo hops to give it that great floral aroma and citrus finish. If you like a strong IPA, you’ll find this one just outstanding.

Appearance: Pours a clear ruby tinted orange with a big fluffy beige head.
Aroma: Freshly sliced grapefruit and spicy sweet malt.
Taste: Big grapefruit hop, pine, rock sugar and spicy malt.
Mouthfeel: Thin and sticky. Modest carbonation.
Overall: Good price, big hops, nice level of bitterness.

Awesome beer, easily one of my favorite “session” IPAs. It’s relatively cheap, readily available, and always a reliable IPA.
