Jackie-Os Cellar Cuvee 4

From Jackie O’s – Cellar Cuvee 4 is an undeniably unique creation. A blend of bourbon barrel aged Russian imperial stout, bourbon barrel aged Scottish Ale and an oak barrel aged barleywine ale.

Jackie O’s Pub and Brewery – Jackie O’s Cellar Cuvee 4 – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.4% abv.

Appearance: Pours a viscous dark brown with no head.

Aroma: Vinous fruit, figs and booze.

Taste: Black currants, bourbon, wood, cherry, burnt roast, mild hops, dark chocolate. Has a lingering sour cherry aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall: Not sure if this is meant have a slight sour quality to it, but being a barrel aged blend of beers, anything can happen right? Still, a well thought out tasty beer.
