Full Sail Pale Ale

From Full Sail Brewing – The way we see it, brewing a great Pale Ale is a lot like living a great life. It’s all about finding the perfect balance. Between work and play, art and commerce, and yes, hops and barley. Dial in each flavor and nuance just right, and it’s a beautiful thing.

Full Sail Brewing – Full Sail Pale Ale – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 5.4% abv. Purchased at Trader Joe’s in Monrovia, CA

Appearance: Pours an amber yellow clear gold with almost no head.

Aroma: A nice mixture of dry malts and earthy/citrusy hop. It’s not huge, but it’s noticeable.

Taste: Bitter earthy hops, dry malt, metallic hop notes, and a fruity twang in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Thin and metallic.

Overall: Not one of my favorite American Pale Ales. It’s a tad too bitter for me.
