Full Sail LTD 04

From Full Sail – Sometimes the best of a brewer’s art, like jazz, can be shown by the notes you don’t play. In our case we bring that elegance of simplicity into our new limited edition lager brewed with one select barley and one of the best Northwest hops. By choosing to focus on these two single “notes” we highlight the finely balanced and complex interplay between the malt and hops. LTD 04 is a beautiful pale-golden color and brewed to highlight the elegant simplicity of both the pale malt and Willamette hops.

Full Sail Brewing – Full Sail LTD 04 – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 7% abv. Purchased at Trader Joe’s Monrovia, CA.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber tinted yellow gold. Atop sits a fluffy white head that subsides to a mere film.

Aroma: Sweet corn, grassy hops, husky grain, and a little bit fruity.

Taste: Grassy herbal hops, sweet corn with a bitter yet fruity finish. A little bit of noticeable alcohol.

Mouthfeel: Creamy with average carbonation.

Overall: Another solid Full Sail lager.
