FireHouse One Tun Imperial Stout

FireHouse Grill & Brewery – FireHouse One Tun Imperial Stout (OTIS) – On tap at the brewery, poured into a snifter. 11% abv.

Appearance: Pours a midnight brown with a thin frothy tan head.

Aroma: Caramel, milk chocolate, licorice and dark fruit.

Taste: Medium roast, licorice, fig, raisin, caramel. Finishes with dark chocolate and roasty spice.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, syrupy with modest, creamy carbonation.

Overall: Excellent, tasty, decadent. I’d like to see this bottled. It’s a very big beer. No lie, one of the best Imperial Stouts I’ve had in a long time.
