Dust Bowl Therapist

From Dust Bowl Brewing – At over 100 IBUs, Therapist is surprisingly easy to drink. Big, bold hop aromas and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits and pine are bracketed by light malty sweetness that does not overpower. A healthy addition of wheat in the grain bill adds to the body and mouthfeel.

Appearance:  Pours a bright clear amber gold. Thin film off white.

Aroma:  Sweet malt, tropical fruit.

Taste:  Caramel like malt, fruit cocktail and a bombardment of bitter hops. 100 ibu style.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied. Average carbonation.

Overall: This is most certainly 100 IBUS. Kind of reminds me of Green Flash Palate Wrecker. This was too malty for my liking, but I completely understand why it had to have the malt bill it did. I look forward to trying more beers from Dust Bowl.
