Cigar City Capricho Oscuro (Batch 3)

From Cigar City – A blend of Bolita Double Nut Brown Ale, Improvisacion, and Big Sound Scotch Ale aged in a Maker’s Mark bourbon barrel.

Cigar City Brewing – Capricho Oscuro Batch 3 – 12 oz. bottle – Bottle 129/480 – 9% abv.

Appearance: Pours an iced tea brown with a very little head.

Aroma: Chewable vitamins, cherry, chalk, cherry cordial candies.

Taste: Alcohol, cherry and medicine.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.

Overall: I went in with no expectations, as I couldn’t quite tell what kind of beer this was based on the label.  I wasn’t that jazzed with the beer.
