Boulevard 21st Anniversary Fresh Hop Pale Ale
From Boulevard – In November of 1989, John McDonald loaded his pickup and drove three blocks down the street to deliver the very first keg of Boulevard beer. Though significantly more assertive, Boulevard 21st Anniversary Fresh Hop Pale Ale is brewed in loving tribute to that original Pale Ale. English pale malt gives the beer a rich, nutty malt flavor. Munich and Caramel malts add color and body, while a blend of Cascade, Hallertau, Magnum, Styrian Golding, and Centennial hops contribute scintillating citrus aromas and complex, peppery notes.
Boulevard Brewing – Boulevard 21st Anniversary Fresh Hop Pale Ale – 750 ml bottle poured into a goblet. 7.4% abv. From Online Trade.
Appearance: Pours a vibrant cloudy orange with a creamy film of white atop. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma: Deep resinous pine, cologne, freshly sliced grapefruit.
Taste: Earthy malt, big pungent piney hops, biscuit, finishes with a funky little twang. I get a big earthy rye malt aftertaste that lingers, with the citrus notes sticking to the sides of my cheeks.
Mouthfeel: Lively creamy carbonation.
Overall: One of the hoppiest beers I’ve had in a while. This beer was so fresh, hoppy and lively, I’m very impressed.

This beer was of limited production and is unavailable now. Odd that you promote it now…
