Big Sky Brewing – Big Sky IPA – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 6.2% abv. Purchased at Whole Foods Market Arroyo Pasadena, CA.

Appearance: Pours a translucent amber with a rich creamy beige head.

Aroma: Big dry hop nose, possibly simcoe or centennial. A little toffee beyond the hop nose.

Taste: Toffee like malt, earthy spicy and juicy hop mix, finishes with a bite of chocolate.

Mouthfeel: A tad rough, medium bodied with average carbonation.

Overall: A balanced, delicious beer. Not very IPA like, but a real tasty hoppy Amber indeed.
