Bell’s Winter White Ale

From Bell’s Brewery – A Wheat Ale brewed with American Wheat and a proprietary blend of Hefe and classic Belgian-style yeasts. A refreshing winter alternative created from the subtle fusion of two classic flavors.

Bell’s Brewery – Bell’s Winter White Ale – 16 oz. can poured into specialty glassware (Bell’s Winter White Ale glass to be exact) 5% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a hazy pastel yellow with a modest white head that fades to a film.

Aroma: Big herbal hop and typical wheat ale notes of spice and fruit.

Taste:  Peppery hops, spicy fruity yeast, sourdough crust like breadiness.

Mouthfeel: Dry,fizzy, crushable.

Overall:  I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this beer.  It bursts with flavor and entices you to keep taking large sips of it. Not usually a fan of wit beers or wheat ales, but this was spot on.
