Bear Republic Brewing – Bear Republic Mach 10 – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.2% abv.
Appearance: Pours a dense amber orange with a beige creamy cap atop.
Aroma: Big resinous pine and grapefruit. Fresh fruit salad.
Taste: Melon rind, grapefruit, orange pith, pine, green tea, dry toasty malt. Long bitter hoppy finish.
Mouthfeel: A bit astringent, full bodied, prickly carbonation.
Overall: I mean this in the nicest way possible, this is a Bear Republic Double IPA. It’s very good, and very similar to Racer X, Racer 15 and any other Bear Republic Double IPA I’ve ever tried.
